Approach
Grief, loss, and emotional stress can place the nervous system into a prolonged state of alert. When this happens, the body remains in what is often called the fight-or-flight response (the sympathetic nervous system), making it difficult to rest, think clearly, sleep well, or feel like yourself.
My work gently supports the body in returning to a calmer state where the parasympathetic nervous system, often referred to as “rest and digest” can begin to restore balance. When the nervous system settles, many other systems in the body begin to work more harmoniously.
Sessions combine holistic counselling, deep listening, and optional integration of energy therapy to help you process emotions and reconnect with your inner balance. This work is not about fixing you or adding anything new. Rather, it is about helping to recalibrate the natural wisdom and resilience already within you, which can sometimes become overwhelmed through grief, stress, or life’s challenges.
During a session you may experience deep relaxation, emotional release, or simply a sense of calm. Sometimes people feel tired afterwards as the body integrates the work.
Sessions are virtual, with in-person sessions available upon request.
